د. محمد العقيل

Dr Mohammed A. Al Aqil is a Faculty Member in the College of Engineering at King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia. He received his MSc. & Ph.D. in Electrical Power Systems Engineering from The University of Manchester, UK (2015 & 2020). He was selected among the top ten promising energy researchers in the UK in CIGRE annual Smart Energy Solutions showcase competition. He is a former Transmission Engineer at National Grid SA and recently appointed as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Chester, UK. He has contributed to various international research projects in the area of smart transmission networks (UK, Canada, Ireland, and Scotland). His publications are mainly in the field of overhead line design and utilization of novel electro-mechanical asset-management-based technologies to uprate the power transfer capacity of the electrical network.
